Star Lines Story

When first starting out in the transportation industry, our founder had neither employees nor equipment, all he had was motivation to succeed and eagerness to achieve the American dream. We stand here today, only as a result of his hard work and determination.

As soon as Ivan left his first mile behind him, he immediately knew it was one of many to come. After months of relentless work, countless loads, thousands of miles, the opportunity to become an Owner Operator finally came his way. Once he sat in his first truck, there was no stopping him!

With each load delivered on time, clients started to recognize and praise his dedication, punctuality and professionalism. Ivan knew that going an extra mile when necessary, will mean that he’s building long-lasting business relations with his clients.

Year by year, mile by mile, truck by truck, slowly but steadily, we became Star Lines.

As Star Lines transitioned from an Owner Operating business into a trustworthy carrier company in Gary, IN, we realized that our core values can be put into a simple word, STAR. These are the values we cherish and strongly promote.

Our drivers spend all their working days on the road, thus great attention is put on their personal safety. Our trucks have routine checks in our shop where we make sure each driver sits in a fully reliable vehicle.
